The Rules of Gentility by Janet Mullany - BRILLIANT, FUNNY, A MUST READ. this author exceeds the comedy content by far. Its very well written for a chick lit regency genre romcom. This book can make you laugh out loud effortlessly. Mullany's sketch of Regency England isn't gospel but its far better than the despicable attempts by American "authors" that can cause one to choke. Her characters are enduring and no gagging clichés to worry about here. Please read this.

A Most Lamentable Comedy by Janet Mullany - WONDERFUL. But it isn't as brilliant as "The Rules of Gentility" but its still one of the best for comedy in the LBD line. Her books are hysterical with an abundance of laugh out loud moments, has non-clichéd characters and can write Regency style combined with a more modern without radically compromising the historical content (as most authors do who write historical romances).

i hope i can finish reading this novel and buy another novel ;)
